Molecular weight: 136.09 

Properties: Colorless tetragonal crystal or white crystalline powder. Relative density 2.338. The melting point is 252.6 ºC. Soluble in water (83.5g/100ml water at 90 ºC), the aqueous solution is acidic, and the pH value of 1% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution is 4.6. Insoluble in alcohol. It has deliquescence. When heated to 400 ºC, it is melted into a transparent liquid, and solidified into opaque glassy potassium metaphosphate after cooling.

Applications:Used as buffer and culture agent in industry; In agriculture, it is used as high efficiency phosphate and potassium compound fertilizer; Food grade as food improvement additive.
