Product Brief Introduction

The Catalyst coated Membrane (CCM)  is a key component of the PEM hydrogen production process, which affects the performance and lifetime of the entire PEM electrolyzer.

This product is composed of proton exchange membrane, cathode and anode catalyst layer. The proton membrane used in this product has good chemical stability, proton conductivity and gas separation. The catalyst layer adopts self-developed catalyst and slurry, which has high catalytic activity and gives the activation energy required for electrolysis of the product.

Products are widely used in household and industrial energy storage systems, effective use of solar energy and industrial electricity, saving energy, is environmentally friendly products.

High Performance

Taiji's PEM water electrolytic CCM uses Taiji's self-developed OER IrOx catalyst and exhibits competitive performance compared to leading commercial CCMS and other CCMS in the literature.
In the RDE and CCM tests, it can be found that the OER iridium oxide catalyst of Taiji has higher activity than the foreign commercial iridium oxide catalyst.
 


In PEM fuel cell application, Taiji OER iridium oxide catalyst also has better performance than foreign commercial iridium oxide catalyst. The OER iridium oxide catalyst of Taiji has been commercially used in PEM fuel cell CCM.

To match world-class standards, a fuel cell testing centre has been constructed to carry out testing and analysis of fuel cells, MEAs and related materials.

      A1:  Taiji supplies CCM according to the requirements of customers. With gasket or without gasket , full coated or only anode side coated, we can all supply.
 
       Q2:  Is the component from local or imported? 

       A2:  Taiji's most popular products utilize Chinese components, including catalysts developed and manufactured by Taiji, and membranes sourced from China's largest membrane supplier (also a core investor of Taiji). By offering a CCM that utilizes all Chinese components, Taiji is able to greatly reduce the cost of the electrolyzer CCM even at relatively low order volumes.

       Q3: What's the normal price? 
       A3: The price depends on many factors including order volume, overseas versus Chinese components, etc. Please contact the sales department with your specific request to receive a quote.

       Q4: How is the performance?
       A4: Taiji's CCM  achieves world-class performance on par with global leading suppliers. While the exact performance depends also on the stack design and operating conditions.

       Q5: What's the lead time of your product?
       A5: The lead time depends on order volume and CCM/MEA component selection. Please contact Taiji's sales department with your specific request to receive the lead time.

       Q6: Is the width customizable?
       A6:  Taiji's CCM is fully customizable up to 1200mm. When using Chinese components, the CCM width can be adjusted without the need to 'slit' from a standard mother roll, which greatly reduced manufacturing waste and thus helps to reduce cost.
