  • HDMI OVER ETHERNET: EX-500IR allows you to extend 1080p HDMI audio/video up to 500 feet (152m) with zero latency over Cat5e/6 Ethernet | Uses HDBaseT Technology for video transmission.
  • AUDIO VIDEO COMPATIBILITY: Supports resolution up to 1080p, 720p, VGA to WUXGA. Supported audio formats: LPCM, Dolby-AC3, DTS7.1, DSD/Dolby TrueHD/DTS-HD master audio, essentially all available audio options are supported.
  • CONNECTIVITY: HDMI Loop-out on the transmitter unit allows you to connect an HDMI display at the source. RS-232 port to accept control commands via PC interface. Supports Power over Cable which means only one power adapter is needed at either the transmitter side or the receiver side to power both units.
  • Bi-Directional IR: Enables source device to recognize remote commands from the remote display or control the remote display from the source device.

The HDMI extender over ethernet allows you to transmit HDMI audio/video signals over Cat5e/6 cable with zero latency while maintaining original audio/video quality. It supports up to 1080p@50/60Hz and extends the transmission distance up to 500 feet (150 meters). HDBaseT technology transmits uncompressed HDMI audio and video, RS-232 serial, and IR control signals up to 500 feet (150 m). The HDBaseT installation can control RS-232 signal devices such as scanners and touchscreen displays at baud rates up to 115 Kbps. Compact, durable, and easy to set up and operate. Ideal for homes, businesses, test bench facilities, data centers, and help desks. Bi-Directional IR functionality enables the source device to recognize remote control commands from the remote location and vice versa. Includes 1 IR Blaster and 1 IR Receiver. Supports Power over Cable technology meaning only one power adapter is required to power both units. HDMI Loop-Out port on the Transmitter to set up another display at the source location. RS-232 port to accept control commands via PC interface.
