Characteristics and advantages:
RT-3063 additive is an ultra-high molecular weight polydimethylsiloxane dispersion available in approximately 80% solid water soluble form to increase the smoothness and wear resistance of coatings, inks and paints.

Main application:
RT-3063 additive can reduce the coefficient of friction, anti-adhesion, improve anti-wear performance, can be used in high viscosity ink, synthetic leather surface and epoxy floor paint, water-based finish oil. RT-3063 additives have been successfully used in the following industrial fields:
• Reduce friction coefficient:
Ink waterborne relief plate, 0.05-0.1% additive
Solvent-based letterpress, 0.5‐1.5% additive
Waterborne gravure, 0.1-0.2% additive
Waterborne lithography, 0.1-0.2% additive
Coatings Waterborne finish varnish, 0.5-1% additive
Paint Water-based paint, 0.5-1.0% additive
Solvent-based paint, add more than 0.5
• Anti-adhesion:
Ink waterborne letterpress, 0.1-0.2% additive
Waterborne gravure, 0.1-0.2% additive
• Improved wear resistance:
Ink Waterborne letterpress inks, 0.1-0.2%, or as low as 0.05-0.1%, or as high as 0.5-1.5% additions
Solvent-based letterpress, 0.5‐1.5% additive
Water-based gravure, 0.05-0.5%, or up to 0.5-1.0% additive amount Solvent-based gravure, 0.05-1.0% additive amount

Usage method:

lRT-3063 additive is effective at low concentrations depending on the formulation type, solvent, resin system and total solid content.
lRT-3063 additive concentration is generally 0.05 ~ 3.0% of the overall formula weight. The additive may be added during grinding, painting or at the final stage. Additive properties and formulations vary. RT-3063 additives can be dissolved with acrylic, alkyd, epoxy, nitrocellulose, polyester, polyurethane and ethylene system resins. In order to achieve the desired performance, the product needs to be fully tested.

Storage: Unopened below 38 °C, stored away from light, shelf life of 18 months from the date of production.
Packing: 1kg, 20kg plastic drum.
