In the ingredients of NR and SBR, DPG, thiazole and sulfenamide accelerators are used as secondary accelerators. DPG has better storage stability than dithiocarbamates and thiuram accelerators but is less active. In the latex using the fluorosilicate foaming process, DPG is used as an auxiliary gelling agent (foam stabilizer)
