Thiacloprid is a chloronicotinoid insecticide mainly used to control aphids in orchards and vegetables. Thiacloprid can disrupt the stability of DNA. Thiacloprid binds to small grooves through hydrophobic or hydrogen interactions, altering the structure and stability of DNA.
Product uses
Spraying on potatoes, apples, cotton, and wheat, as well as treating rice and other similar crops in seedling boxes, results in similar metabolites. The parent compound is usually the main component during harvest, and the hydrolysis, oxidation, and conjugation of the parent compound are the main degradation pathways.
