XY-173 defoamer is silicone emulsion defoamer,
which uses in general surfactant and high polymer foaming system.
This product has fast foam eliminating speed between normal temperature to 80ºC or higher, and good stability under alkaline condition( pH value 8.0-11.0) .

XY-173 defoamer can be diluted with thickened water or used in stock solution(diluted).
It is suggested that add this product into the emulsion polymerization tank or other foaming place where it can disperse smoothly.
0.05-0.5% addition to the total formulation weight
10-100 ppm in waste water treatment
The optimal adding place, adding amount, adding method and dilution ratio should be based on a series of lab and field test result.
Proper dosage level of this defoamer is sufficient for inhibiting and breaking the foam effectively, don't use it excessively.
The product is available in 25kg, 200kg plastic drum or IBC tank (1000kg).
Keep away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
