The hydrogen electrolytic cell uses SPE technology to input pure water or re-distilled water that meets the requirements into the anode chamber of the electrolytic cell. Then the water is supplied to the membrane electrode assembly, where oxygen, hydrogen ions and electrons (2H20→4H++4e−+02↑)are produced on the anode side .
The electrons are transferred to the cathode through the external circuit, and the hydrogen ions ( H+ ) reach the cathode through the proton exchange membrane, and become hydrogen (4H++4e-→2H2↑) after absorbed electrons, hydrogen is discharged from the cathode chamber and enters the gas-water separator to generate high-purity hydrogen.
