| Drug Indication/Application/Use | Nefiracetam is used for the treatment of cerebrovascular disease. It can enhance cognition and prevent impairment of learning and memory by acting on the cerebral cortex. It does not have the properties of muscarinic receptor agonist and antagonist, nor does it inhibit acetylcholinesterase activity, so its antiamnesic and memory-enhancing effects occur by increasing the release of acetylcholine from the cerebral cortex. |
