Appication
  1. It is used as a coupling agent to improve adhesion of free radical cured resins, such as unsaturated polyester, to inorganic surfaces, including fiberglass, clay, quartz, and other siliceous materials. The improved adhesion increases dry and wet flexural compressive strength of the composite.
  2. It is used in fiberglass processing. After the sizing(including silane coupling agent) of fiberglass, improve the wet mechanical strength and electrical properties of fiberglass reinforced composites.
  3. It is used in wire and cable industry. Clay(treated with silane) filled peroxide crosslinked EPDM can improve dissipation factor and specific inductance and capacitive reactance.
  4. It is used in the copolymerization of monomers, copolymerized with vinyl acetate and acrylic or methacrylic Monomers, the polymer is widely used in coatings, adhesives and sealants, providing excellent adhesion and durability.
