Tungsten carbide is a compound composed of tungsten and carbon with the molecular formula WC and a molecular weight of 195.85. It is a black hexagonal crystal with metallic luster and similar hardness to diamond. It is a good conductor of electricity and heat.

2.Used for manufacturing cutting tools, wear-resisting parts, smelting crucible of copper, cobalt, bismuth and other metals, wear-resisting semiconductor film.
3.Used as super hard cutting tool material, wear resistant material.
