Indications | Veterinary drugs are often used in the treatment of acute respiratory infections of cattle (such as bronchopneumonia caused by Pasteulosis), bovine mastitis, and porcine actinobacillus pleuropneumonia. |
Dosage and Administration | Calculated with this product. Intramuscular injection: once dose, 3~5mg per 1kg body weight, once a day, 3-4 days consecutive days. |
Cautions | (1) Shake well before use. (2) Should not be frozen. (3) Animals with allergic reactions need to be rescued by injection of epinephrine in time. (4) Ceftiofur is mainly excreted through the kidney, and the dose of the animal with renal insufficiency should be reduced as appropriate. (5) Place out of reach of children. (6) Staff with a history of allergy to penicillin and cephalosporins are prohibited from contact with this product. |
Untoward effect | (1) Very few diseased animals were allergic to ceftiofur. (2) Ceftiofur has certain renal toxicity. (3) May cause gastrointestinal flora disturbance or double infection. |

Drug interaction | Cephalosporins for livestock and poultry antibiotics, broad-spectrum bactericidal effect. It is effective against gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria (including β-lactamase producing bacteria). The main sensitive bacteria are Pasteurella multicida, Pasteurella hemolyticus, actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Salmonella, Escherichia coli, streptococcus, staphylococcus, etc., and some pseudomonas aeruginosa and enterococcus are resistant. |
