Solid steel body geometry:
The pick head's solid geometry improves chip evacuation and increases the pick's service life considerably. The pick head height has been lowered to ensure optimal use of the significantly thicker wear plate with its special groove profile. The increased steel volume in the wear-critical range also guarantees a significantly longer service life for the cutting tool.
Reinforced wear plate with
improved shape:
The reinforced wear plate protects the toolholder against wear by abrasive milled material. Moreover, the flat wear plate geom- etry delivers improved rotation behaviour in the picks.
