A filter press plate is a component of a filter press machine used in solid-liquid separation processes. Filter plates are typically made of a variety of materials, such as polypropylene, stainless steel, cast iron, or aluminum. They come in different shapes and sizes depending on the application and filtration requirements. The filter plates are mainly divided into plate and frame filter plate, chamber filter plate, membrane filter plate, stainless steel filter plate, cast iron filter plate, gasket filter plate, and round filter plate, etc.
The filter plate is a key device in the water treatment process, and it plays the dual role of carrying the filter layer for filtration and backwashing water distribution in the filter tank. The quality of the filter plate is directly related to the long-term benefits of the filtered water quality, water quantity, and operation of the water plant and sewage plant.
Chamber filter plate
The chamber filter plate is composed of several filter plates with holes in the middle. It is a key device in the water treatment process, and it plays the dual role of carrying the filter layer for filtration and backwashing water distribution in the filter tank. It can be applied to most industries, with the characteristics of fast filtering speed and high filtering pressure.

9. Used for high-pressure backwashing oil filters, etc.;

Installation requirements
The horizontal installation accuracy of the filter plate is relatively high, and its important basis is the leveling of the whole pool of the filter beam and the positioning accuracy of the stainless steel parts used for the pre-embedded riveted filter plate. Therefore, the leveling of the filter beam requires a horizontal line and must have a high standard. Only metal molds and skilled manufacturing techniques can ensure the flatness of the filter beam. After the plane is leveled, the filter plate can be installed.
1. The construction shall be carried out according to the requirements of the design drawings, the horizontal error of a single pool plate surface shall not be greater than 2mm, and the elevation error of each filter tank shall not be greater than 5mm;
2. The joints of the filter plates are required to be air-tight, water-tight, and able to withstand the pressure of flushing;
3. Before the filter plate is laid, use a level to detect that the error of the elevation value of the supporting beam surface is less than 2mm;
4. The joints of the filter plates are embedded and filled with 903 polymer cement mortar, and the joints are cured in a humid environment for three days and put into use after seven days;
5. During the construction, it should be noted that the mortar cannot leak into the pool or seal the filter head. After installation, the mortar on the surface of the filter plate should be cleaned.
