Cycle life:
One cycle means a cell is fully charged and discharged The cell's cycle life should not be less than 900 cycle According to the applicable IEC standard, it should be 500 cycles at least, in case of float charge application, its cycle life may be longer

Ni-Cd alkaline storage batteries usually charge with constant current and charge 8 hours with 0.2C₅A.Floating charge also can be used, and the floating charge voltage of different series as follow:
