Sodium chlorite is mainly used for bleaching pulp, paper and various fibers such as flax, ramie, cotton, reed, viscose fiber, etc. Because of its moderate REDOX potential, it is used for bleaching synthetic fibers (such as washing, etc.), natural fibers (such as cotton, hemp, mulberry, pulp and other plant fibers) and artificial fibers (such as rayon, etc.), it can remove pigment impurities, and does not damage the fibers, so as to obtain higher quality bleaching products, which is unmatched by hydrogen peroxide and other chlorine-containing bleach agents.
