ZA40 is a eutectic abrasive with 40% zirconia content prepared by special smelting process. ZA40 is made of aluminium oxide and zirconia as raw materials, at the temperature of 1900ºC, using the arc smelting process. Due to the particularity of manufacturing process,ZA40 has small grain size and special dendritic eutectic micro-structure.
In the application field of coated abrasives, the side of the special microstructure of abrasives in the process of grinding showed a micro-crushing mechanism, thus greatly improving the low pressure grinding process of the grinding and cutting speed of the grinding material, but also prolong the service life of the product, far better than the traditional abrasives such as brown fused alumina and silicon carbide.
Application
ZA40 is suitable for multiple high grade coated abrasives, such as heavy load sand belt, ,louvre blade , steel paper disc, etc. In the plate grinding, hard grinding metal processing (such as stainless steel, titanium alloy, etc.) has a significant effect.
