Wedge wire filter element also named wedge wire screen is made of V-shape profile wire and longitudinal support rods. Each intersecting point of these wires is fusion welded which makes it has sturdy construction and good mechanical property. The profile wire and support rod can be axial wire or radial wire. It mainly includes internal filtration, external direction filtration. According to the different usage, we can design the flow direction and shape to meet the application requirements. What's more, we can customized the wedge wire filter element such as filter tube, filter basket based on the clients requirements.Wedge wire filter element is widely used for deep well pump, dive water pump. The slots are normally cleaned by hydro washing.Keystone / Undercut SlottingTrapezoidal seam design making the outer surface of the slot wider than the inner surface, thus greatly reducing the chance of slot clogging clogging. Typically, the trapezoidal slot angle is designed to be 6°.Slot patternsSlots are either arranged in parallel or in an offset pattern.
