Description
Acetone, also known as dimethyl ketone, is an organic compound with the molecular formula C3H6O, which is the simplest saturated ketone. It is a colorless flammable liquid with a mint odor at room temperature and pressure. Easy to dissolve in water and organic solvents such as methanol, ethanol, ether, chloroform, pyridine, etc. Flammable, volatile, and chemically active. In industry, it is mainly used as a solvent in industries such as explosives, plastics, rubber, fibers, leather making, oils, and paint spraying. It can also be used as an important raw material for the synthesis of ketones, acetic anhydride, iodoform, polyisoprene rubber, methyl methacrylate, chloroform, epoxy resin, and other substances. It is often used as a drug raw material by criminals, such as bromophenylacetone.
Product application 1. Used as an analytical reagent, such as a solvent. Used as a chromatographic derivative reagent and liquid chromatography eluent.
2. Used in the electronics industry, commonly used as a cleaning and degreasing agent.
3. Commonly used as a solvent for vinyl resins, acrylic resins, alkyd paints, cellulose acetate, and various adhesives. It is also widely used in the manufacturing of cellulose acetate, film, film, and plastics, and is also a raw material for the production of methyl methacrylate, methyl isobutyl ketone, bisphenol A, acetic anhydride, vinyl ketone, and furan resin.
4. Can be used as a diluent, detergent, and extractant for vitamins and hormones.
