Ethoxy glycol is usually used as a solvent for nitrocellulose, acetate fiber, synthetic resin, and paint. It is used as a coloring agent, stabilizer of emulsion, printing ink and vitamin B12 refine solvent in the leather industry. It is used as a painting diluent, paint deleting agent, and raw material for making spray paint in the coating industry. It also can be used as the dyestuff of making fiber in the textile industry. And it can be used to make acetate and the stabilizer of emulsion.
