Sodium chloride (NaCl) and water (H2O) in the salt water are ionized, and after electrification, hydrogen (H2) and chlorine (Cl2) are generated at the cathode and the anode respectively. The remaining hydroxide ions combine with sodium ions to form sodium hydroxide (NaOH), and chlorine gas reacts with sodium hydroxide to form sodium hypochlorite (NaClO).

This sodium hypochlorite electrolysis module/Electrolytic Cell/Electrolyzer is used to produce high-concentration sodium hypochlorite aqueous solution.
