1.Design and Specification: Determine the specific requirements for the insulated glass units based on factors such as climate, energy efficiency goals, architectural design, and building codes. 2.Glass Cutting and Preparation: The glass panes are cut to the desired dimensions using precision cutting equipment. Edges of the glass may be polished to ensure smoothness and prevent injury during handling

3.Spacer Bar Installation: Spacer bars made of materials like aluminum, stainless steel, or composite materials are cut and bent to fit the dimensions of the glass panes. These spacer bars create the space between the glass panes and maintain the proper distance. They also serve as a structural framework for the IGU

4.Desiccant Placement: A moisture-absorbing material called a desiccant is placed inside the spacer bar to absorb any moisture present in the air space and prevent condensation.

5.Sealing: The spacer bar, along with the desiccant, is positioned between the glass panes. A high-quality, flexible sealant is applied to create an airtight and moisture-resistant seal around the edges of the glass unit. This sealant ensures that the insulating gas remains trapped inside

6.Insulating Gas Filling (Optional): If the design includes an insulating gas like argon or krypton, the gas is injected into the sealed space through small holes in the spacer bar before the final sealing process. The gas enhances the insulating properties of the unit


7.Installation: The insulated glass units are installed into windows, doors, or curtain wall systems in the building. They are secured in place using appropriate hardware and framing systems.
