The VCP safety valve is the ultimate measure when the bunker structure is compromised under abnormal pressure conditions. This is why a sudden overpressure or suction situation in the bin must be dealt with immediately. Although pressure relief valves should not be used under ideal conditions, an effective and reliable safety valve must be equipped in case of emergency.

When abnormal pressure endangers the silo structure, the VCP safety pressure valve is the last resort of protection. This is why excessive pressure or negative pressure in the silo should be dealt with immediately. Even if the safety pressure valve is in an ideal state that has never been activated, it must be guaranteed to be efficient and reliable when needed. In more than 100,000 applications worldwide, the VCP safety pressure valve has proven to be completely reliable in all situations.

The VCP safety pressure valve consists of a cylindrical housing with a bottom flange for connection welded to the top casing of the silo; Disc iron inner cover, in the case of negative pressure, the center of the spring rod work; In the case of overpressure, the outer ring works and is positioned by three spring rods, washers, and a corrosion guard.

For VCP safety pressure valves, the coil spring keeps the valve cover closed when the pressure value is within the preset range. Three external spring rods keep the outer ring bonnet tightly closed until the pressure generated in the silo is less than the spring force. Once the pressure value exceeds the preset range, the valve cover is pushed up to release the pressure. The smaller valve cover covers the central circular opening of the outer valve cover from below. The smaller valve cover is secured by a single spring rod and pressurized to the external valve cover by the standard atmosphere in the silo. When pressure is pumped, the spring compresses and lowers the bonnet. Air enters from the outside of the silo, which ensures a rapid pressure balance and pushes the center valve cover into the closed position.
