Description
        Arc Voltage Height Control (AVC) maintains the proper torch tip-to-work distance for the entire cut by first sensing the material height and adjusting to the set pierce height before igniting the torch. After piercing the material the AVC will drop to the cut height by measuring voltage between the torch tip and material and will continue to monitor the plasma cutters arc voltage for the rest of the cut. This process has proven to increase your plasma cutters consumable life and improve your overall cut quality.
      By communicating with the CNC controller and plasma cutter our Arc Voltage Height Control precisely controls the entire cutting process to give you the best results available on the market today. Our Torchmate AVC listens to the plasma cutter to know when the torch has completed  run and will signal the CNC controller to start its motions after the appropriate delay. If your plasma cutter fails to arc on properly or loses the arc for any reason, our AVC can halt the motions of the CNC controller allowing you to reset quickly without wasting valuable time or material.  Simple, single cable plug and play connection between the controller and lifter station makes setup quick and easy. This also reduces the chance for RFI or EMI interference to interrupt the operation of the AVHC.

  1. Support Torch retaining cap IHS or Nozzle Contact (ohmic contact) IHS with any HF plasma…..Great anti-interference improvement.
    IN Cutting has much higher accuracy , standard accuracy is 1V, enough to support HD plasmas. max support 12000mm/min cutting speed.
    IN welding , its standard accuracy is 0.1V, Support Dynamic pierce, collision output to CNC.
  2.  Auto Initial Height Sensing(IHS)
    Torch Retaining Cap IHS( ohmic contact) and Proximity Switch IHS both available, Proximity Switch IHS is for cutting dirty/rusty workpiece, needing the Anti-Collision Fixture . It supports underwater cutting and welding,too.
  3.  Anti-Collision Function
    When torch tip touches workpiece, THC automatically lift torch up to IHS height to avoid crashing. It is effective both on Manual/Auto mode.
  4.  Freeze Auto Height Control on Corner Signal
    Auto Mode on receiving corner signal from CNC system to avoid torch diving on Cycle start/end, corner turning.
  5. Support DC/AC24V powersupply both
  6. Dual speed during IHS, better torch tip protection,  and 6 indicators to easy trouble-shooting. When it get problem, we can easily find the problem by the indicator's on/off state and make fast solution to customer.

J1:Connect to CNC controller.
J2:Connect to Isolated arc voltage divider's output, Start Arc output, DC24V output.
J3:Connect to the proximity switch or ohmic sensing box.
J4:Connect to lifting motor and limit switches.
J5:Connect to DC24V power supply.
GND:Connect to the system ground. The grounding cable should be at least 4mm²
