1, Introduction:
Enameled Wire is a main variety of the winding wire, composed by conductor and insulating layer. The bare wires are annealed soften, then through many times paint, and bake to the finished product.
Enameled wire is a main material for the electrical machine, electrical appliance, household appliance, ect.
The different enameled wires have different qualities and characteristics, but all possess mechanical property, chemical property ,electrical property, febricity.
2,The insulating material.
(1) Acetal Enameled Wire
Advantages: fine mechanical strength, adhesiveness, transformer oil resistant and refrigerant performance.
Disadvantages: Anti-moisture performance is poor, the breakdown of the thermal softening is low. The durable of
benzene mixed solvent performance is weak.
Application: Few used in oil immersed transformer, oil filled motor winding.
(2)Polyester and Modified Polyester Enameled Wire, Ordinary Polyester Enameled Wire.
Thermal level is 130,after modify the thermal level is 155.
Advantages: The mechanical strength is high, fine elasticity, scratch-resistant. The adhesiveness, behavior of electricity
and solvent resistance are also fine.(Large quantity).
Disadvantages: The heat shock resistance and the wet resistance are weak.
Application: Widely used in household appliance, precision electronics, the telecommunications equipment, instrument,
electrical machine.
(3)Polyurethane enameled wire
The thermal level is 130, 155, 180, 200(UEW)
Advantages: Possess straight welding performance, high frequency resistance is fine. Easy coloring, wet resistance is
also fine.
Disadvantages: The mechanical strength is a bit weak, the theral resistance is low. The toughness and the
adhesiveness of the large size wire is weak. The production of the enameled wire mostly is small and micro wire.
Application: Widely used in household appliance, precision electronics, telecommunication and instrument.
(4)Polyester imide/Polyamides compound enameled wire.
Advantages: The impact of thermal resistance is fine, the breakdown of the thermal softening is high, the mechanical
performance is fine. The solvent resistance and freeze resistance is also fine.
Disadvatages: Easy to hydrolysis under close condition.
Application: Used in electrical machine that require high thermal resistance, electrical instrumentation, electric tool.
Power dry-type transformer winding, etc.
(5)Polyester imide/Polyamide imide
The two kinds of insulating material is the main enameled wire that used in the China.
The Thermal level is 220.
Advantages: The thermal resistance of the product is high, also possess the performance of freeze resistance, low
temperature resistance, radiation resistance, high mechanical strength, the stabilization of the electrically. The chemical
resistance and the freeze resistance are fine. The overload capacity is strong.
Application: Widely used in freezer compressor, air condition compressor, electric tool, explosion-proof motor, and the
electrical motor which used in the circumstance of the high temperature, low temperature, radiation resistance, high load.
