Product Description
Hampo 003-1061 is a 8megapixel high resolution FF fixed focus mini USB3.0 camera module, which is on the basic of 1/3.2" advanced Sony IMX179 CMOS sensor, the image quality is very high and stable.

The USB connection port in the camera module supports USB 3.0 high-speed data transmission and OTG protocol (UVC). It is also backward compatible with USB 2.0, although in USB 2.0, this camera supports fewer resolutions at lower frame rates.The 8MP USB camera has a dedicated, high performance image signal processor chip that performs all automatic functions (automatic white balance, automatic exposure control), as well as a complete image signal processing pipeline, providing first-class image and video YUY2 and MJPEG compression.

The camera module with mini PCB board at 38mm*38mm,compatible with 32mm*32mm, can be installed in most hidden and narrow position such as document scanner, LED large screen displayer, advertisement machine, all-in-one machine, laptop,intelligent electronic blackboard and other educational products application. Compatible with Windows 7, 8/10/11, Linux operating system.

Q: What advantages does the autofocus camera module has?
A: The advantage with auto focus is that it usually much faster in focusing correctly than fixed focus. Imagine that you are going to take a picture of jogger running towards you. Focusing on the runner while he is toward you is very hard without auto focus. It is undeniable that auto focus is desirable in many situation, there are situations where manual focus gives better control. Shoot objects in millimeter level and in the distance on the same camera, automatically controlled without lens adjustment tool, closer and easier than the fixed focus camera.

Q:What's the different between USB2.0 and USB3.0?

A:In terms of USB 2.0 vs 3.0 speed, USB 3.0 offers superior speed and a higher efficiency power management compared to the more common USB 2.0. Also, USB 3.0 ports are backward compatible. But, when a USB 3.0 device is connected to a USB 2.0 port, the data transfer speeds will be limited to USB 2.0 levels.
