Callao (CALLAO) is a Peruvian commercial port on the west coast of South America. Located in the middle of the country's coast, on the outskirts of Lima. The sea route is 1,350 nautical miles from Balboa Port in the north, 3,990 nautical miles from San Francisco Port, 1,306 nautical miles from the Chilean commercial port Valparaiso Port in the south, and 9,404 nautical miles from Shanghai Port. There is St. Loren Island in the southwest of the harbor as a barrier, and there are a large jetty extending from the land bank to the northwest and four small jetties extending westward in the middle and south of the harbor.
