Ternary NCM technology enables the highest energy storage density for rechargeable batteries, for the time being, the NCM battery has a higher power rating and energy density than the LFP battery due to its higher lithium diffusion rate and electron mobility.
NCM cells with thinner cathodes have the same discharge capacity as LFP cells with thicker cathodes. Under the same number of cycles, the capacity retention rate of NCM battery is higher than that of LFP battery.
