Fuction and Application

Ophosphorus iodide, an antidote to organophosphorus pesticide poisoning, may be used alone for mild organophosphorus poisoning, or for symptoms that have been controlled by atropine;  For moderate and severe intoxication, a combination of atropine is required, for which the indication is organophosphorus intoxication.  

Usage, according to the dosage form is not the same, the usage is not exactly the same.  In the course of medication, there may be some adverse reactions, sometimes can cause sore throat, parotid gland swelling;  In addition, it may cause rapid heart rate, dizziness, blurred vision, nausea and vomiting, bradycardia, severe may appear, fatigue headache, uncoordinated movements, then clonic convulsions, and even suppression of the respiratory center, causing respiratory failure;  Local irritation is relatively strong, may lead to subcutaneous indwelling, causing severe pain and numbness of the surrounding skin.
