GH3128 is a Ni Cr based solid solution strengthened deformed high-temperature alloy, used at temperatures below 950 ºC. 16% w (W+Mo) was added to the alloy for solid solution strengthening, and boron, cerium, and zirconium elements were added to purify and strengthen grain boundaries. The alloy has high plasticity, high endurance and creep strength, as well as good oxidation resistance, stamping and welding process properties. Its comprehensive performance is superior to similar nickel based solid solution strengthening alloys such as GH3044 and GH3536. It is suitable for making flame tube, afterburner shell and other components of aeroengine combustion chamber that work at 950 ºC for a long time. The main products include cold rolled thin plates, hot rolled plates, bars, forgings, wires, and pipes. GH3128 alloy has been used to manufacture flame tube, diffuser, afterburner, tail nozzle, regulator, stabilizer, diffuser and gas duct of aeroengine, with good batch production and use. Alloys are also widely used in high-temperature oxidation atmospheres such as temperature thermocouple protection tubes, flux gates, magnetometer probes, framework materials, W and Mo reduction sintering material boats, and railway locomotive pre combustion chamber nozzles.
