Cyclodextrin has holes in the center of the annular structure, and has oxygen atoms of -Ch - and glucosinolate, which is sulfowater-based. The -OH group at positions 2, 3 and 6 of glucose is hydrophilic, which can complex other molecules into inclusion complexes by weak van der Waals forces. Cyclodextrins can bind chemicalbooks to a wide range of substances, including noble gases, halogens, dyes, fragrances, drugs, foods, pesticides, and preservatives. Its stability, volatility, solubility and reactivity were improved after encapsulation. The special function of cyclodextrin makes it a widely used bonding material.
1. Uses in the pharmaceutical industry the use of cyclodextrin and drugs can form a inclusion (encapsulated), can make
(1) Unstable drug stabilization;
(2) deliquescence, adhesion or powderization of liquid drugs;
(3) insoluble or insoluble drugs can be dissolved (solubilization).
2. Applications in the pesticide industry cyclodextrin encapsulation is stable, and some pesticides are storable and have improved insecticidal efficacy.
3. Uses in the food industry Cyclodextrins are used in the food industry and have the following functions:
(1) Elimination and cover up of odors;
