ZGS series combination transformer, also known as American box transformer, is composed of side outgoing oil-immersed transformer, which is composed of high voltage load switch, fuse and transformer, and low-voltage box body. Inside the box body is divided into incoming cable compartment and low-voltage compartment.
The electricity generated by photovoltaic cells is dc low-voltage electricity, which is collected and inverted into three-phase low-voltage alternating current, and then boosted to 10KV, 20KV or 35KV by special photovoltaic box-type substation and transmitted to the power grid. Photovoltaic booster box substation often has multiple low-voltage inlet lines, using low-voltage side with split coil transformer. The cabinet transformer is equipped with intelligent control system, which can upload the working status of each component to the central control room for centralized monitoring.
Special box type substation for wind power generation is to convert the 690 volt power output from the wind generator into 10KV or 35KV power and transmit it to the network. Generally, a generator is combined with a booster box substation, and there is only one low-voltage inlet line.
The special box substation for photovoltaic power generation and wind power generation is generally made of a combination transformer structure, to reduce the volume and floor space, convenient for transportation and installation, and compared with the pre-installed booster substation, the weight is lower, because there is no additional transformer cooling system, the conversion efficiency is higher.
When a preinstalled booster substation is used, both oil-immersed transformers and dry transformers can be installed internally.
