Polybutylene terephthalate, also known as tetramethyl terephthalate. Hereinafter referred to as PBT. It is a polycondensation of terephthalic acid and 1, 4-butanediol. Together with PET, PBT is called thermoplastic polyester.
Characteristics of PBT
F. Molding processability: injection or extrusion of ordinary equipment. Due to the fast crystallization speed, good fluidity, mold temperature is also lower than other engineering plastics. When processing thin-walled parts, it only takes a few seconds, and it only takes 40-60s for large parts.
The main raw material of PBT plastic is butylene terephthalate,which has many characteristics such as high mechanical properties, good molding process, aging resistance, fatigue resistance, etc. It is widely used in many industries such as automobiles, electrical housings, medical, machinery, construction materials, etc.
