The Glass line ruler is kind of a precision optical tool, which is often used together with measuring equipment such as ratio length gauge, measuring machine, universal tool microscope, universal measuring machine, coordinate boring machine, coordinate grinder, etc. It is mainly used for measurement calibration and optical positioning. When the line ruler is used for measurement or positioning, it should be used in conjunction with a reading microscope, an optical reading head or an optoelectronic microscope.

What are the materials of the line ruler?

(1) Soda glass

Soda glass has the characteristics of small thermal expansion coefficient, high precision, high hardness and good corrosion resistance.

(2) Quartz glass

Quartz glass has high temperature resistance, extremely small thermal expansion coefficient, good chemical thermal stability, and strong adaptability to harsh working conditions. Line ruler manufacture.

(3) K9 glass

K9 glass has excellent mechanical properties and very low bubbles and impurities, with good scratch resistance. Due to its stable chemical properties, no special handling is required for grinding and polishing. Widely used in optoelectronics, microwave technology, diffractive optical elements and other fields.
 

What are the types of glass line rulers?

Glass line ruler can be divided into reference line ruler, standard line ruler and working line ruler.
