Application

This model of water meter is used to record the total amount of cold water flowing through the pipeline. It cannot be used to measure sewage and corrosive liquids.

Feature

1.      Using non-contact sensors, does not affect the original performance of mechanical water meters.

2.      Using infrared radiation to enhance the anti-interference ability; non-mechanical contact mode, will not cause garbled reading due to mechanical looseness.

Installation and use

1.      Determine the diameter of the water meter. Firstly, understand the flow rate in the pipeline. It is better to use the flow rate close to the common flow. It is not possible to determine the diameter of the water meter simply by the diameter of the pipeline.

2.      The upstream and downstream of the water meter should be installed with the necessary straight pipe section or the equivalent of the water flow rectifier. The length of the upstream straight pipe section is not less than 10D, and the downstream straight pipe section is not less than 5D (D is the nominal diameter of the water meter). The rotation of the water flow caused by the elbow or the centrifugal pump, it is necessary to install the rectifier in front of the straight pipe section.

3.      Newly installed pipelines should be cleaned of stones, muddy water and other debris in the pipeline and installed with water meters to prevent damage or malfunction of the water meters.

4.      Install a filter with the same nominal diameter of the water meter in the upstream of the water meter. The filter should be taken out and cleaned frequently. The debris accumulated in the filter should be cleaned to ensure accurate metering.

5.      The water meter should be installed coaxially with the upper and lower straight pipe sections, and the gasket should not protrude into the pipe to avoid the measurement uncertainty.

6.      Installation location should avoid exposure, freezing, pollution and flooding, in order to disassemble and read the meter.

7.      The water meter installation should be bypassed to ensure that the water meter is not stopped when the water meter is installed. Water meter installation should pay attention to the water flow and the direction of the arrow on the water case to prevent the reverse installation, the valve should be installed upstream and downstream of the water meter, and all open when used.

8.      Prevent the steam from entering the pipeline directly when installing the hot water meter.
