Introduction
Low DENSITY POLYETHYLENE (LDPE), commonly known as high-pressure POLYETHYLENE, is mainly used in plastic bags and agricultural film due to its LOW DENSITY and the softest material. It has a good set of physical properties and superior mechanical properties.

1. LDPE is principally used for making films. It is widely used in the production of
- agricultural film (mulching film and shed film),
- packaging film (for use in packing candies, vegetables and frozen food),

- heavy-duty packaging bags,
- shrinkage packaging film,
