What did the Microwave Disinfection Unit (MDU) do to bacterias?
Microwave disinfection is the result of microwave thermal effect and biological effect, which can make microwave energy and bacteria directly interact, rapid sterilization.
The thermal effect of microwave energy: Under certain intensity microwave field, the bacteria will be due to the absorption of polarized molecules can increase the temperature of microwave, so that the protein deformation, loss of biological activity. Q5. Where will the disinfected medical waste go?
The medical waste after microwave disinfection treatment is non-infectious, non-hazardous and unrecognizable inert waste, which can be transported to the local domestic garbage landfill or incineration plant as ordinary domestic garbage for treatment, or part of the medical waste after disinfection treatment can be recycled accordingly. It should be properly handled according to your local laws and regulations.
