Description

Acetylisovaleryltylosin Tartrate, formerly known as acetylisovaleryl tylosin (TAT), is a macrolide antibiotic. The mechanism of action is the same as that of other macrolide antibiotics. It can bind to the nucleosome 50S subunit of the sensitive bacterium   and inhibit the synthesis and elongation of the peptide chain by blocking peptide transfer and/or mRNA displacement, affecting bacterial protein synthesis.

Acetylisovaleryltylosin Tartrate has antibacterial activity against a variety of gram-positive bacteria, such as Staphylococcus, Micrococcaceae, Microbacilli, Bacillus, Corynebacterium, Aeromonas, Campylobacter, Enterococcus  , Streptococcus, Arthrobacter and Clostridium; It also has good antibacterial activity against mycoplasma, and has a better effect at high concentrations; However, it has no effect on most gram negative bacteria.




The mechanism of action is the same as that of other macrolide antibiotics.
