The SCALEm-2+ dual-driver core 2SC0435T2G1-17 (Connector pin length of 3.1mm, suitable for PCB thicknessof 2mm: increased EMI capability: lead free) / 2SC0435T2G1C-17 (Coated version using ELPEGUARD SL 1307FLZ/2 from Lackwerke Peters) combines unrivalled compactness with broad applicability. The driver isdesigned for universal applications requiring high reliability. The 2SC435T2G1(C)-17 drives all usual high-power IGBT modules up to 1700v. The embedded paralleling capability allows easy inverter design coveringhigher power ratings. Multi-level topologies are also supported.

Driving Parallel-Connected IGBTs
The driver allows direct parallel connection of any number of IGBT modules with individual drivers. This new, pioneering concept makes it practical for the first time to build converter series with discrete modules as well as parallel-connected IGBTs without any significant additional development effort.
