MANCOZEB 80 WP It is a FUNGICIDE of the CARBAMATO family

MANCOZEB 80 WP is contact with preventive effect. Its multisite mechanism of action induces multiple enzyme inhibition, thereby affecting the Krebs Cycle and cellular respiration, inactivates sulfhydryl groups (-SH), prevents the formation of ATP (adenosine triphosphate) and affects the synthesis of membrane lipids. The molecule of this fungicide gradually releases a gas called ethylene diisothiocyanate, which is the principle that acts on fungi, which forms an inhibition halo several times greater than the area covered by deposition of particles, which prevents the germination of spores and inhibits the development of the germ tube of the fungus. Its multisite nature helps to avoid the appearance of resistance to the product.

MANCOZEB 80 WP: In land applications use high or low volume equipment. Hollow cone type nozzles should be used. Before using the equipment, it must be verified that it is in good working order, without leaks and with the correct calibration.

APPLICATION INTERVAL: Apply at least twice to rice, once in the stuffing box and another 10 days later. In the rest of the crops, make up to 3 applications at intervals of 5 to 8 days.

INTERVAL BETWEEN THE LAST APPLICATION AND THE HARVEST: the waiting period is 30 days. In bananas there is no restriction.
