At present, liquid level control type is one of the most popular control methods in the application of elevated tank water-supply and sewage and rain drainage system. It measures liquid level by floating ball switch (or other liquid level meter), and then feedbacks the signal to control panel in order to control the start-stop of the pump. It has protection functions such as short circuit, stop-phase and overload. For submersible motor it can also add protection functions such as electric leakage, pump casing water leakage and motor stator winding overheat. It is an automatic control device which is economical, reliable and easy to maintain.

Water Pump Working Mode
1. One main and one standby:
When controlling 1 and 2 pumps, it can work in two states '1 main and 2 standby' or '2 main and 1 standby'. When the main pump breaks down, the standby pump will start to work automatically. Start manually by panel operation button. If the user requires to use both pumps, it is not necessarily to equip the standby pump.
2. Two mains and one standby:
When controlling 1, 2 and 3 pumps, it can work in three states '1, 2 main and 3 standby' or '2, 3 main and 1 standby' or '1, 3 main and 2 standby'. When the main pump breaks down, the standby pump will start to work automatically. Start manually by panel operation button. If the user requires to use all pumps, it is not necessarily to equip the standby pumps.
3. Three mains and one standby:
When controlling 1, 2, 3 and 4 pumps, it can work in four states '1, 2, 3 main and 4 standby' or '2, 3, 4 main and 1 standby' or '1, 3, 4 main and 2 standby' or '1, 2, 4 main and 3 standby'. When the main pump breaks down, the standby pump will start to work automatically. Start manually by panel operation button. If the user requires to use all pumps, it is not necessarily to equip the standby pumps.
Main Pump And Standby Pump Switch Mode
1. Manual switch:
Main pump and standby pump are switched manually. When the main pump has faults, the standby pump will start to work automatically.
2. Ac automatic alternative switch:
It is proper for the occasion where main pump and standby pump need to work alternatively. Once started, the main pump and standby pump will alternate one time. This type also has a function that the standby pump switches automatically if there is a fault.
3. As timing switch:
It is proper for the occasion where the pumps work frequently, which makes each pump's working time more average and prevents one pump's long time using and huge losses. It is switched at an interval time.
Start-up Mode
1. Direct start:
Full-voltage starting, full-voltage operation, large starting current.
2. Autotransformer start:
Voltage and current will be reduced by autotransformer when starting, and will be restored to rated voltage when operating.
3. Soft start:
Pumps are started by electric soft starter, there is no contact diverter during the start process, and voltage and current will rise smoothly, which will not make huge impact on power grid and pipe networks.
Additional Function
1. Timing start-stop:
Pumps can starts and stops at a predetermined time according to the time which is set by clock operated switches in the control panel.
2. Remote interface:
Electric control panel is equipped with remote monitoring terminals and can convey pumps' working condition to duty room in remote distance in order to be monitored.
3. BA interface:
Electric control panel is equipped with building automatic remote monitoring terminals, showing equipments' working condition and enabling start-stop controls.
4. Dual power:
Electric control panel is connected with dual power supply, which be switched automatically and manually.

>>> APPLICATION SPECIFICATION
As the control equipment of submersible sewage pump, KYK-Q liquid level automatic control panel can meet all technical requirements of submersible sewage system. Besides protection functions such as motor overload, stop-phase and short circuit, it also prevents motor stator winding overheat and motor leakage, which is set up for submersible motor safe operation. Since the submersible motor is installed in pump shell which is submerged in water for a long time, three motor wirings are extracted from submersible pump (WQ model) for tighter seal. As a result, three start-up modes tend to be adopted, such as direct start, autotransformer start and soft start.
The control system can control at least one pump. The control panel relies upon the floating ball going up and down along with the liquid level to realize the start-stop of the submersible sewage pumps.
1. One pump in the control system
When the floating ball is at the pump-start liquid level, it delivers the signal to the control panel. Then control panel starts the submersible sewage pump to drain the sewage. When the floating ball is at the pump-stop liquid level, the control panel receives the signal from the floating ball and stops the operation of the submersible sewage pump.
2. More than one pump in the control system
There is one main pump, and others are standby pumps. The main pump works the same as one pump control system. If the main pump breaks down, standby pumps will operate instead of the main pump automatically. At the same time, the control panel displays the failure signal of the broken submersible sewage pump.
3. This control system also can be used in the supply-water system of the elevated water tank. It starts the pump to fulfill the water tank when there is no water and stops the pump when the water tank is fulfilled. The pump-stop function can be set up if there is no water in the reservoir. Centrifugal inline pumps are used very often in the water supply system of the elevated water tank, so Y-△ reduction voltage starting or other starting methods for large power water supply system can be adopted according to the needs.

>>>HUMAN-COMPUTER INTERFACE
There are two kinds of configuration industrial human-computer interface.
1. Text display with simple function (Chinese interface) It can be set up some basic parameters and displays as picture and text forms.
2. Touching-type industrial figure display (touch screen)
There is a 32bit RISC CPU so that the operating speed is fast. Plenty of screenshots can be set up. The system state isdisplayed in the form of image and text combined. The interface communicates via touch screen, PLC (programmable logic controller) and frequency converter. Parameters such as working pressure and flow are set up via the touch screen. The touch screen also displays information on site such as each pump's working condition, real-time pressure, frequency and breakdown, etc. It's easy and simple to handle. The function of replacing control panel improves reliability of the system.
