Shanghai High-Lube Additives Co. Ltd (hereinafter referred to as High-Lube) was founded in 2001 as a joint venture between Sinopec and Infineum, each holding 50% of the shares. Currently Sinopec is mainly responsible for the operation and management of High-Lube.
As a professional company of Sinopec additive business, High-Lube is also the transferee of engine oil additive package technology of Sinopec Research Institute of Petroleum Processing Co. Ltd (hereinafter referred to as the "RIPP").
4.2 Productive capacity
High-Lube is an early domestic manufacturer that uses automatic computer control system to control the production process of additive package, which has realized automatic and accurate batch blending, high production efficiency and stable product quality. The single blending amount can reach 70 tons, and production capacity of additive package can reach 40,000 tons/year. Quality control of product has reached the international advanced level.
4.3 Laboratory
Blending production and quality inspection of High-Lube have obtained the global certification of Infineum. Participate in the global cross-check data comparison test of additives organized by ASTM every year, and the test result is less than 1δ, which is reliable. 5. About RIPPRIPP is a comprehensive research and development organization specialized in petroleum refining and petrochemical engineering, founded in 1956. As a national R&D center and key laboratory of Sinopec, RIPP has made nearly 1,000 scientific and technical achievements with awards above ministerial level and state prizes, and nearly 10000 foreign and domestic patents. In different historical periods, RIPP has developed outstanding technologies that played important roles and greatly accelerated the evolution in Chinese refining industry. High-Lube always insists on the importance of technology, and continuously introduced various series of engine oil additive package technologies developed by RIPP, products have achieved full coverage from low-grade SF and CD to the highest-grade SP and CK-4 at present. The additive packages are supported by a full set of engine test, and have been applied in famous brands such as Sinopec Great Wall Lubricant.
