Uses of Tris:
1. Chemical raw material: Tris is widely used as an important chemical raw material for flame retardant materials, coatings and amino resins, etc.
2. Reaction medium: As an excellent reaction medium, Tris is often used in organic synthesis reactions, which can play the role of catalyst.
3. Resin cross-linking agent: Tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane can also be used in resin cross-linking reaction, which can improve the hardness and heat resistance of resin.
4. Biological buffering agent: In the field of medicine, Tris is used as a biological buffering agent, which is widely used in cell culture, DNA/RNA extraction, PCR amplification, etc.

Configuration method of Tris solution:
1. Weigh the required amount of Tris powder and add it to sterile high purity water.
2. Use a magnetic stirrer to fully dissolve the Tris powder until it is completely homogeneous.
3. Calculation of concentration: Generally, the concentration of trimethylolaminomethane is 1 mol/L, and the concentration can be adjusted appropriately according to the need.
4. Measure the PH value of the solution with a PH meter, which should generally be controlled between 7.0-8.5.
5. Preparation of buffer solution: standardize the solution to the required volume, usually used as a buffer solution with a concentration of 50-200 mmol/L.
6. Sterilization: The trimethylolaminomethane solution is loaded into sterile bottles and sterilized according to a certain process.

It should be noted that during the configuration of trimethylolaminomethane, chemical safety operation procedures should be strictly observed, and personal protective equipment should be worn to avoid splashing the chemical on the skin and eyes, and to avoid inhalation and accidental ingestion of the chemical.
