Rose red monoclinic crystal or tetragonal crystal system, insoluble in water, slightly bisexual, hardly soluble in alkali, but soluble in acid and ammonium Chemicalbook salt solution.
Density of 3.6 g/cm after.
1100-1200 ºC, melting point for both sexes hydroxide.
Mainly used for glass and enamel colouring agent, raw material for making other cobalt compounds, as well as the varnish and coating of the desiccant.
