Plastic Polyhedral Hollow Ball for Water Treatment
Sizes available: 25mm, 38mm, 50mm, 76mm
These multi-faceted hollow spheres are synthesized by two half balls, each consisting of semi-circular fan-shaped leaves made up of several components. The upper and lower leaves are staggered, resulting in a specific surface area larger than other spherical packings.
As a new and efficient packing for water treatment equipment, this product is widely used in the power, chemical, paper, and environmental protection industries for acid removal, deacidification, oil-water separation, desalination, pure water, and waste water treatment.
The ball is made of polypropylene (PP) plastic, composed of two hemispheres that form a complete sphere. Each hemisphere has 8-12 half sector blades, designed to stagger with the fan blades of the other hemisphere. The filler boasts a large specific surface area and high void ratio. However, due to the large number of blades, there is a shielding effect between them, which may not be conducive to certain applications.
Functional Characteristics: 1. The plastic polyhedral hollow ball (PP, PE, PVC, CPVC, RPP) is constructed by combining two hemispheres to form a sphere. Each hemisphere is equipped with 12 half fan-shaped blades, which are staggered with the blades of the opposite hemisphere.
2. This packing material is characterized by its lightweight, high strength, spacious interior, excellent resistance to high temperatures and corrosion, hydrophilic surface, minimal wind resistance, and low power consumption. It provides a large specific surface area and is suitable for various solvents.
3. Primarily used in water treatment engineering, this type of packing is widely employed in environmental protection equipment such as chlorin removers, deaerators, carbon dioxide absorption towers, waste gas purification towers, and acid mist purification towers.
