1.Characters:

1681ºC. An inorganic compound with the chemical formula LiF, an alkali metal halide, white powder at room temperature, slightly soluble in water, insoluble in alcohol, soluble in acid, mainly used as an analytical crystal in a wavelength-analytical X-ray fluorescence spectrometer.

As an electrolyte component in the electrolytic aluminum industry, it can improve electrical conductivity and current efficiency; as a neutron shielding material in the atomic energy industry, as a solvent for molten salt reactors; as a transparent window for optical materials in ultraviolet light.
