Description
Phosphorous acid, an inorganic compound with the chemical formula H3PO3, is a white crystalline powder, easily soluble in water and ethanol, slowly oxidized to orthophosphoric acid in air and decomposed to orthophosphoric acid and phosphine when heated to 180°C.
