PA 6 (Nylon 6) is one of the most widely used engineering plastic materials in the current field of application. It can be used in the manufacture of bumpers, seat frames, headlights, fans, radiator grilles, instrument panel brackets and other accessories in automobile accessories industry. It is also widely used in textile & clothing, home appliances, electronic appliances and packaging industries because of its good toughness, high tensile strength, good elasticity and adjustable lustre properties.
PA 6 is also commonly used for molding and extrusion applications such as film and tubing. It is scratch, puncture, and flex-crack resistant. PA 6 does not dissolve by or absorb grease, oil or moderate acidic substance. On top of that, Nylon 6 is FDA approved for food contact and resists most organic chemicals. So it is ideal for use as packaging film application.Moresu MS340MS340 is a bright nylon 6 raw chip with relative viscosity of 3.4.
The nylon film produce by MS340 has excellent air barrier performance, good transparency and good glossiness. Other advantages include: high tensile strength, good air resistance, wide temperature resistance range, good oil resistance and organic solvent resistance. It has wide range of applications in packaging, especially suitable for packaging of greasy food, meat products, vacuum-packed food and etc..
MS340 is also ideal for Nylon cord products with its high tensile strength and good elasticity.
