This product is a powder coating suitable for coating medium density fiberboard substrates (MDF) using special formulas and production processes. The coating film has excellent mechanical and indoor decoration properties and can be widely used for surface coating in the modern furniture industry.
The advantages of MDF powder coating
1, No water consumption during the production process.
2, The remaining powder coating during the production process can be recycled and reused.
3, High strength protective layer, not only high scratch resistance, high wear resistance, but also high moisture resistance.
4, The shape, color, and surface texture of medium density fiberboard create infinite space for design.
5, No volatile organic matter, formaldehyde, water, benzene, and heavy metals. Closed powder wrapping greatly reduces formaldehyde emissions remaining in medium density fiberboard, making it difficult for bacteria to grow.
6, Medium density fiberboard undergoes high-temperature sterilization at 250 ºC and can effectively remove formaldehyde inside the board, meeting EO environmental standards.
7, The baking temperature of MDF powder coating is 120 ºC, which significantly reduces the baking temperature compared to the conventional powder baking temperature of 200 ºC, effectively achieving energy conservation and emission reduction, and providing a more comfortable working environment for workshop staff.
It can now be made into coatings with various colors and metallic flash effects.
Specific gravity (g/cm³, 25 ºC): 1.2-1.8
Particle size distribution: 100% less than 100 microns (adjustable according to special coating requirements)
Curing conditions:120 ºC (referring to the surface temperature of MDF board) for 20 minutes. The oven can use a regular hot air circulation oven or oven. If conditions permit, it is best to first use an infrared oven to quickly heat and level the newly sprayed coating, and then send it to a regular oven for baking and solidification.

Q1: Can I have a sample order for Powder Coating?
A1: Yes, we welcome sample order to test and check quality. Mixed samples are acceptable.
Q2: What about the lead time?
A2: Sample needs 3-5 days, mass production time needs 1-2 weeks for order quantity more than 10 tons.
Q2: Do you have any MOQ limit for powder coating order?
A2: MOQ 300KG.
Q3: How do you ship the goods and how long does it take to arrive?
A3: We usually ship by DHL, UPS, FedEx or TNT. It usually takes 4-6 days to arrive. Airline and sea shipping also optional.
Q4: How to proceed an order for powder coating?
A4: Firstly let us know your requirements or application(For indoor or outdoor use). Secondly We quote according to your requirements or our suggestions. Thirdly customer confirms the samples and places deposit for order. Fourthly We arrange the production.
Q5: Is it OK to print my logo on packaging?
A5: Yes. Please inform us before our production and confirm the design firstly based on our sample.
