1) Description:

Paraffin is a hydrocarbon mixture extracted from certain distillates of petroleum, shale oil, or other bituminous mineral oils. The main components are solid alkanes, odorless and tasteless, white or yellowish translucent solid.Paraffin is amorphous, but has a distinct crystalline structure.There is also artificial paraffin.
